BRENT'S BLOG 0003: TIPS FOR LIVING ALONE IN A CONDO - (THE DREAM LIFESTYLE YOU NEVER KNEW YOU HAD)

If you're like me, who spends all of his days with his siblings and grew up in a house with your family, deciding to live in a condo alone will be HARD and CHALLENGING. You will experience seperation anxieties, you will often feel worried about being alone and the thought of having a home that relies on you to function.
You have to accept the big change. It will be a foundation of youre new life, living independently. First and foremost it will give you the freedom you need in order to grow to be a responsible and reliable adult. From this, it will also help you grow as an individual. Aside from being hard and challenging as I mentioned earlier, here are some tips for living alone in a condominium - to make the transition for that dream lifestyle you never even know you had.
GO OUT. Might seem weird at first, but going out and exploring your new world is always a good thing. Trying out new things is the way for you to discover your true self. You might even find new friends or hobbies that you will enjoy. Aside from new friend and hobbies, it is good that you familiarize yourself with the surroundings of your new home.
LEARN THE INS AND OUTS. Learn the ways of the people in your building and in your area, the fiestas, the public social events, participate in your building's administration meeting or association meetings and most of all, socialize. You need to be comfortable with the people around you. - but do it safely and don't be weird.
GROCERY SHOPPING. Having to grocery shop for yourself seems dull at first but you have to find that passion within wherein you will find that satisfaction in getting food and things for your home to be functionable. Cook at home, have a party, invite your loved ones, enjoy.
EMBRACE ADULTHOOD. Learn how to handle finances, Living independently will force you to learn how to handle your money. You will learn how to budget your expenses to keep you on track and avoid financial problems in the future.
ENJOY YOUR PRIVACY. Embrace being alone and enjoy the silence you have in your own personal space. Living alone in a condo unit gives you the freedom to be yourself and be weird.
BE ORGANIZED. Create that habit wherein you would get a personal satisfaction when you see your things neat and organized. It goes a long way.
BE HAPPY. Buy things you want, a big TV? a gaming area? a study area? Gordon Ramsey's kitchen? a very expensive bike? The condominium nit and the little space you have is your world and know that it has endless possibilities. You deserve it because you are an independent being that deserves to be happy. You are in charge, being happy will always be a the goal.
After you apply these tips you will soon realize that being alone and independent is not so bad and thatyou can handle it, it will make you grow and happy realizing that this was the dream lifestyle you had all along.
